Monroe, WA – On December 16, the Ward Roney Jr. VFW Post 7511 and Auxiliary was once again honored to remember the 625+ local veterans buried at the Monroe IOOF Cemetery. This was the 3rd year VFW Post 7511 held a Wreaths Across America event. Each year, the community of Monroe, WA has supported the Post’s mission more and more. Approximately 250 members of the community were on hand. The Post was extremely grateful to be able to honor every veteran laid to rest at their local cemetery.
VFW Post 7511 is extremely grateful to the District 1 Auxiliary President, VFW Post 921, VFW Post 8870, the Snohomish High School JROTC, the Civil Air Patrol, Jeeps & Java of Snohomish County, Starbucks, all of the Scouts, and all of the Royalty who helped make the day possible.
