Everett, WA – On October 5, 2023, members of every Post in District 1 participated and assisted in the Veterans Stand Down at the Carl Gipson Center in Everett, WA. During the event, the VFW and other nonprofit organizations assisted approximately 60 homeless or “at risk” Veterans. As the winter continues, please continue to watch out for our homeless veterans.
